Show date is Sunday, March 26th and will be the 59th Annual Show

                                                                                        

The February meeting of the Fostoria Coin Club was called to order February 20, 2023, at 7:30pm by President Brandeberry with the Pledge of Allegiance. Twenty-five members and one guest (Tim Snyder) were in attendance.  The January minutes were read and approved, as was the Treasurer’s report. Next meeting will be held on Monday, March 20th, at 7:30 PM at the Fostoria Learning Center.

 

Old Business -     

We will continue with separate Jr. and Sr. door prizes unless there’s a motion due to consider otherwise.

 

Member/Illness – We lost our dear member, Barb Knepper

 

Show Business -    

               Sara gave an update on publicity

               Gary has been promoting the show in Columbus

               Cody gave a dealer count of 11 dealers and 17 tables as of now

Eric requests that if you have items for the duplicate table, to set your lowest acceptable price and get your items ready

Hall setup – we can get the tables anytime Saturday, so it was suggested that any volunteers meet at 3pm at Cole’s to help

               The assignments for the registration table were confirmed with those who will be manning it.

A motion was made by Harry, and seconded by Chuck, for the club to purchase 6 signs to direct traffic to the new sale location

 

 

New Business-

               Vic brought in items for door prizes and donated 3 2023 Eagles

 

               Harry and Gary motioned and 2nd’d to adjourn the meeting.

 

Door prizes and auction followed.
